Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Do you feel shame for being tricked? Do you even feel tricked? He’s done so many evil things to so many people already. And we’re only a few months in.
You say you voted for him because of the economy. Because of the taxes. First of all, how dare you put money above respect for your community. How dare you put your own financial status before human rights. How. Dare. You.
Second of all, basically all economists were saying Trump’s “plan” was going to be horrible for the economy. Where was that in your decision making? Where was your research on tariffs or the labor market or the stock market when you cast your vote? Do you even know what “the economy” means? Because news flash, it’s not just the stock market. It’s not just inflation. It’s so much more than that. The economy is the labor market. It is agriculture. It is e-commerce. It is trade. It is the stock market. It is local companies. It is large companies. It is prices. It is anything that has to do with the production and distribution of goods and sevices.
Do you feel duped yet?
I’ll never forgive you for doing this to our country. Never.
And if you’re a friend reading this and you voted for him, yes I’m talking to you. You’re no exception. You’re not special, even if you “aren’t one of those kinds of supporters”. Even if you don’t think of yourself as racist or bigoted or cruel. Even if you did it “because of the taxes, because of inflation”. You’re just as guilty as the MAGA hat-wearing lunatics. YOU helped create this mess. And I see you for what you are. I may not completely ignore you, but you won’t be visiting my house. You won’t be hanging out with my kids. You won’t be getting more than a “hi, how are you?” from me. No road trips or presents. No happy birthdays. No congratulations. No. I see you for what you are.
And I’ll never forgive you. Ever.
Next Serve, Nicole
